Where to Wander in San Francisco

We love visiting San Francisco, but somehow we still haven't managed to make a San Francisco city guide! Blame it on all our awesome friends that we like to hang out with ;) Here are some of our recent favorite things to do in San Francisco, from flea markets at Treasure Island to windy beach hangs.

And if you're heading to the Bay Area, don't forget to check out our Oakland city guide too!

We loved visiting the new Cafe Reveille from Reveille Coffee in the Industrial District, where you can come for breakfast or lunch during the weekdays, and brunch on the weekends! With both a yummy and healthy menu that's easy on the wallet, this is definitely a unique spot to visit in San Francisco!

If you want to get outdoors and get to the ocean (it is California after all), head south to Pacifica State beach for some oceanside cliffs, easy hikes, and wind in your hair.

Treasure Island is right outside of the city, and they have a super trendy and amazing flea market on the last weekend of every month. Treasure Island Flea is totally worth a visit for food trucks, antique hunting, and to experience part of San Francisco's vibrant arts community.

And of course, we always love a visit to Dolores Park, especially now that construction is over! Grabbing a coffee at Ritual Coffee or Four Barrel on Valencia is one of our go-to things to do in San Francisco.

While you're on Valencia, you should definitely wander into the local shops along the way. Mission Workshop makes awesome bags and apparel for the adventurous traveller, so if you love hiking, biking, or being on-the-go, this is definitely worth checking out. Plus, they have Free Coffee Fridays provided by Bicycle Coffee (say hi to Jared and the boys!), which is probably the most San Francisco thing ever (in a good way, this city realllllly loves their craft coffee).

Gravel & Gold on Valencia is the cutest boutique filled with their awesome and unique designs. You can shop some of their collection here, or just stop by in-store to see their fun clothing and rad prints - perfect for a cool souvenir!

If you're getting hungry, Mau on Valencia is a delicious Vietnamese restaurant that's perfect for when you just need the comfort of pho.

As we mentioned, we have so many amazing friends in San Francisco, and getting together over good food and good drinks is what we love most about this city.

Lolinda is a San Francisco staple that's great for sharing small plates or indulging in a delicious steak, and El Techo is Lolinda's pretty great rooftop bar you can head up to after!

San Francisco is all about Airbnb, and you can get $30 off your first Airbnb stay by signing up with our link here! Even if you don't take a trip now, the money will still be there for you when you do book a stay, easy peasy.

We're hopefully heading back down to the Bay area later this summer, so let us know which neighborhood you want us to make a guide for first in the comments!
