Where to Stay in Palm Springs: Mid-Century Mod at The Monkey Tree Hotel

Looking for where to stay in Palm Springs? We love finding fun and eclectic places to stay in Palm Springs, so we were excited to visit the newly renovated Monkey Tree Hotel! It's a boutique Palm Springs hotel that has a ton of character, and we loved how quiet and homey it felt - it was the perfect place to just chill out and enjoy the sunshine and break out our bikinis. Where to Stay in Palm Springs: The Monkey Tree Hotel

The Monkey Tree Hotel is definitely one of the best Palm Springs hotels, namely because of awesome ambiance and gorgeous grounds. If you want a lively place to be seen, this is not it, but if you're looking to really relax and curl up with a book at the pool without being disturbed, this is definitely a great place to stay. Originally built in 1960 by Albert Frey (hey, it's not Palm Springs with some mid-century modernism, right?), it was recently re-opened and lovingly restored. One of our favorite things was enjoying breakfast in their super cool, super retro lounge each morning!

The Jungle Room is so amazing, and back in the days of the original hotel, it was actually Eric Clapton's favorite place to stay in Palm Springs! The room also has it's own private, jungle landscaped patio. All of the rooms have huge windows so you can look out to their pretty grounds and that stunning pool, but don't worry: you can't see inside of them! #magic

We stayed in one of the Deluxe King rooms which came with a little kitchenette, which we always love when we're travelling! The California King bed was so comfy, and we had a ton of space to hang out in, which was great because it actually rained for two days while we were there! Who knew it rained in Palm Springs?! Thankfully we had this cute space to cozy up in.

Definitely consider a stay at the Monkey Tree Hotel for your next trip to Palm Springs!
